Port of discharge로 약칭하여 'POD' 라고도 부른다. 해상운송에서 화물의 양륙항으로 해상운송의 종점이자 선하증권의 기재사항 중 하나이다. 목적항은 통상 처음부터 특정되어 있다. 그러나 복수의 항에서 하주가 선택하는 것이 허용되어 있는 경우가 있는데, 이것을 선택 양륙항(Optional Ports of Discharge)이라고 한다. 이 경우 "London Hamburg Option" 또는 "Yosu Pusan Option"처럼 목적항을 두 개이상 명기한다.

Place where a vessel (ship or aircraft) is off-loaded and the shipments are dispersed to their respective consignees. It may or may not be the port of destination. Also called port of unloading.
